Volleyball’s most prestigious annual competition, the Volleyball Nations League, is coming to Bangkok in June 2024.
The finals mark the end of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League which have seen 16 of the world’s best volleyball teams compete over eight weeks for the chance to be part of the Women’s Volleyball Nations League Finals 2024 - Thailand.
Eight teams including Thailand will compete over four days to be crowned champions. The preliminary round will see 16 teams compete in 96 matches. The teams are Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Serbia, Thailand, Turkey, the USA, Bulgaria, Canada, the Dominican Republic, France and Poland.
Volleyball is becoming increasingly popular on a global scale, and the organisers expect more than 500,000 spectators across the live events, in addition to 1.1 billion global TV audience. The Volleyball Nations League has 16 million active followers on social media, growing by the day.
The finals will take place at the Huamark indoor stadium, which has a capacity of up to 8,000 seats. The finals will be played as direct elimination from the quarter finals stage.
