The Sponsorship Experts have sponsored the ASN Asia Market Analysis 2023 report. The report covers the Asian sponsorship market in 2022 with commentary from local agencies.
Sponsorship in Asia was concentrated in five markets (China, Pan-Asia, Japan, India and South Korea), which accounted for 91 percent of all sponsorships, valued at USD6.6 billion. The next five ranking markets (Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong) took that up to USD7.2 billion or 98 percent of the total.
Sports sponsorship almost reached 2019 levels (-2 percent) while non-sport is still lagging behind pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels, down by 43 percent.
