Now in its sixth year, Amazing Asia Festivals is the leading multi-day Asian festival, bringing together more than 60,000 visitors from Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Luxembourg.
Over six events across Belgium on multiple days, more than 60,000 visitors celebrate Asian cultures, showcasing hundreds of products and experiences. The aim is to widen knowledge of different Asian cultures and raise funds for underprivileged children.
The festival started in 2019 with the name Thai Market and attracted just 3,600 visitors. Since then, the festival has grown exponentially and organisers are expecting more than 60,000 visitors in 2024. Visitors can meet more than 100 exhibitors from different Asian countries, showcasing food products, crafts, products and services.
There’s a live stage with bands and Asian dance performances, as well as a kids entertainment zone, a workshop and keynotes zone, specialty shops and street food vendors selling food from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and the Philippines to name a few.
In the past, proceeds from the festival have been donated to Bamboo School Thailand, a refuge for orphans who have been abandoned or who have medical problems. In 2024, the organisers plan to dedicate each of the six festival events to a different charity goal. Each Country of Honour Partner has the opportunity to nominate a charity in their country.
Honorary ambassadors for the festival include embassies and tourism boards from Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia.
