Volleyball World has reappointed Paul Poole (South East Asia) Co., Ltd. to manage commercial sponsorship and partnership marketing in Thailand for the Beach Pro Tour – Challenge 2023 – Thailand and the Women’s Volleyball Nations League 2024 - Thailand.
A new partnership between Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and CVC Capital Partners, Volleyball World is aiming to drive growth, innovation and investment in volleyball around the globe.
Volleyball World is aiming to create an international network and integrated ecosystem connecting all volleyball stakeholders, including fans, athletes and corporate partners through digital and live events.
Thailand is a key market for Volleyball World, with the sport gaining steady popularity around the country. Women’s volleyball, in particular, has gained immense popularity in Thailand due to the success of the Women’s National Team.
The success of volleyball has rubbed off on sponsorship deals in the sport. According to a recent report by ASN - Asia Sponsorship News, Thailand is one of four leading countries investing in volleyball sponsorship deals, with the country at 31.3 percent, India at 27.3 percent, Japan at 24.1 percent and China at 13.1 percent.
The sport has also attracted new brands onto the sponsorship stage, such as Eurocake, Daikin, Mikassa and CP Meiji, which have all come on board since 2020.
