One of England's leading schools, Brighton College, will open in Bangkok in September 2016. Established in 2009 as a subsidiary of Brighton College in the UK, Brighton College International Schools has successfully opened two colleges in the UAE and Bangkok is Brighton College's first outpost in Asia. The school aims to become the leading British-curriculum school in Thailand, offering pre-prep, preparatory and senior schools that culminate in the award of IGCSEs and A-levels.
Brighton College was founded in 1845 and is today considered one of the leading and most forward thinking schools in the UK with a strong tradition for art, music, dance, drama and sports. The school was awarded Independent School of the Year 2013-2014 at the Independent School Awards as well as England's Independent School of the Year 2012-2013 by The Sunday Times.
