The Route

Union Glacier to the South Pole.

The group will set out from what’s known as Union Glacier on foot & snow skis completely unsupported. Carrying everything for the entire expedition on a sled over the 1200KM ice trek to the South Pole.

The expedition will take an estimated 45 days, in which the team will camp, eat and live on the ice, where average temperatures can drop as low as -50ºC.
